What can we say, we just love, love love it when we can be a part of such a beautiful wedding day!  From the amazingly colorful and unusual florals to the attention to detail and so many personal touches, (how about that VW Mobile Bar Olive & Twist from Capers Catering formerly featured on the knot) this day was remarkable in every sense of wedding bliss. Sophistication is an understatement. There were so many beautiful pictures taken by the lovely sister city photography. Below are just a few.

I’m in love with her Bridal Bouquet…very untraditional right? She is carrying a beautiful bouquet of tweedia such a sweet and dainty choice, in case you are wondering…it is native to South America and also known as blue milkweed. The groom is wearing a blue thistle boutonniere, it is actually the national flower of Scotland…it’s meaning clearly “connotes bravery, courage, and loyalty in the face of treachery”.

The Ceremony was held at St. Gregories  in the Lower Church, the beautiful altar was the perfect backdrop for our hybrid blue delphimium vases filled with submerged curly willow…so elegant and just dreamy

the unusual flowers didn’t stop there…the attendants bouquets were also designed with tweedia and embellished with cymbidium orchids but I have to admit, I think the girls floral print dresses really took center stage.

cute as a button, these adorable flower girls were carrying Nantucket baskets trimmed with powder blue hybrid delphinium blossoms, filled with cymbidium orchids and tied with satin ribbon.

A perfect color palette, dahlias, marigolds, roses, hydrangea and so many other vibrant colors lined the tables in this amazing setting…most people can only dream about having their reception at The Courageous Sailing Center Pier 4   of the  The Navy shipyard     

the unlikely combination of an elegant place setting and delicious donuts was the perfect blend of sophistication and whimsy.

The scenic view of the Boston skyline and the harbor just can’t be beat.
